Our company history and ethics.

Fast 'n' Easy Computers was founded in Manchester in March 1994 as a bespoke PC manufacturer, focused on personal service. We provided hundreds of computer systems over the following decade, from individual customers, up to large departmental orders from the University of Manchester. During that period we relocated to Hazel Grove, Stockport, where we remain to date.

We moved in to our current premises in 1999. It's a small industrial unit, with the big advantage of a customer drop off / work area (allowing us to instantly evaluate brought in machines) as well as many free parking spaces.

Nowadays we primarily focus on IT services. We can still supply quality major manufacturers' machines, sometimes with modifications, or we can get custom computers built to your specification and personalised by us. The majority of our work is now business support and installation, or home computer servicing (such as virus fixes). We always try to provide a professional honest service, for a reasonable price, either at our unit or onsite at our customers locations.

Environmental Awareness

The PC industry uses lots of energy and has the potential to produce lots of nasty waste. We always consider this in the way we run our business. All our equipment is now recyclable and made from materials which do not contain hazardous substances (RoHS rules) . We aim to reuse all packing, recycle IT equipment which is beyond repair, but primarily reuse any parts that can be made in to second hand systems.

Packaging reuse.

We have cardboard boxes of many sizes, lots of bubble wrap and plenty of foam packaging to give away FREE. Visit us in Hazel Grove if you need packaging for eBay, moving house etc. Make packing work again and save money and a little bit of our planet.
